Day1 :
Mumbai. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of Day at leisure.
Day2 :
Transfer to Airport and depart for Madras. Transfer to hotel in Mahabalipuram.
PM: City tour of Mahabalipurum the city of Seven Pagodas.
Day3 :
Visit Ekambasreshwar Temple, Kamakhsi temple and Viakunta temple. Also Kanchipurum is a center for silk weaving. Rest of Day free.
Day4 :
Mahabalipurum/Madras/Triuchirapalli. Transfer to Madras airport and fly to Trichy and then to hotel. Morning free. City tour covers the Rock fort, Sirangam and Jambukeshwar Temples.
Day5 :
Tiruchirapalli to Madurai. Leave by car to Madurai and en route visit Birhadeswara temple, and statue of Nandi Bull. Check into hotel.
Day6 :
Madurai. Full Days tour of Meenakshi Temples, Palace of King Triumalay Temple of Alaghar Kohli and also visit Elephant rock. Stay at Madurai.
Day 7 :
Madurai/Trivandrum. Leave by car to Trivandrum and visit the following en route: Cape Comorin, Kanya Kumari and southern tip of India. Long Days drive involved.
Day 8 :
Trivandrum. Capital of Kerala. City is lush green with excellent coastline, superb Kovalam beach (11miles) and backwater for boating.
In the morning visit Padmanabha swami temple, Museum and Chala Bazaar. Stay at hotel.
Day 9 :
Transfer to airport for flight to Banglore. On arrival leave by car to Hassan for overnight stay. Day at leisure.
Day 10 :
Depart from Hassan to Mysore and visit en route Halebid, Belur Temples and Jain temple rock carving of Sravanabalagola. Stay at Mysore.
Day 11 :
City Tour visiting many palaces and museum. Evening optional visit to Brindavan Gardens and fountains.
Day 12 :
Leave Mysore and en route visit Hoysala sculptures at Somnathpur, Somnathpur. Arrive at Banglore for over night stay.
Day 13 :
Transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai. |
